Session 1 Video Post reflection@OCL4ED

I agree with Stephens opening remarks on his video sign post for #OCL4ED, that openness is about saving money. With that in mind, i let my train of thought critically explore the possibilities that will come about this, and my conclusion is that, costs incurred is a great barrier for students to further their education. With the concept of Shared knowledge on an Open Platform (O.E.R.) offers limitless opportunities, not only for students, but for teachers as a form of empowering their knowledge and the curriculum they deliver, in turn.
I agree that education is a 2 way stream, where student responses are so important. What builds there thoughts depends on the quality of material the teacher prepares to deliberate in classrooms, therefore teachers need to be exposed to what is available out there in the global pool of resources and ideas.
"THE CORE OF LEARNING IS SHARING" .... of ideas, that should be controlled through open licensing - totally agree.
